Welcome to the Pitcot Farm Barn Cottages', two self catering holiday homes, Perrink and Aken, situated in an elevated position on the edge of the Mendip Hills, approximately 9 miles from Wells and 14 miles from Bath. They are surrounded by open farmland and face the beautiful Nettlebridge Valley. Until a few years ago Pitcot was a working farm, but now the land is used by a neighbouring farmer who grazes his special breeds of sheep: Zwartbles (black with a white blaze) and Charollais (white sheep from the Charolle region of France). The sight of the black and white lambs is delightful.

Perrink and Aken cottages have been newly created from a lovely, long, single-storied barn. They take their names from the coal seams that ran through this part of the Nettlebridge Valley. Both properties are fully centrally heated and double glazed, and each has a log-burning stove for that extra cosy feel on a chilly evening. There is a television and video player in each sitting room.

Excellent facilities are available at good rates all year round. Take a look at our website, and if you have any questions, or would like to book any holiday accommodation or enquire about short term letting (available out of season only) please do not hesitate to contact us.
